TWISTED (again) (Sung by Public Enemy- 05:43)

This is a video I did about a year and a half ago. Enjoy.

4 REFRAINS:

This is the most powerful and moving thing I have seen on this here internets. You are a wonderful artist, poetryman.

I am so grateful to you for wading into the swam of my comments threat about my calling the fine upstanding voters of West Virginia crackers. I'm from small town Texas, my mother's family is fine cracker stock--racist, gun wielding, war mongering upstanding citizens, who would rather vote for Satan himself than a nigra. I lived in Fayetteville, which, as I recall was pronounced "Fateville." I lived in Springfield, MO where God was hot stuff but racial hatred still abided in the hearts of the "Christians" all about. Right to Life? Hell yes. Unless it comes to the death penalty, which doesn't count as right to life. Randy Newman is a favorite of mine since he sings so eloquently of the cracker mentality.

Well I'm at it again, and almost everyone misses the point. Must be something I'm doing wrong. But I will keep trying. Maybe one of these days I will get the hang of this blogging thing.

I think the next topic I'm going to tackle is polygamy which is big in Utah. It's the Utah version of hillbilly, cracker, redneck, biblebelt, horsehit called Big Love.

I have blog rolled you since I can't get enough of you. Please do drop by now and then to see if they've strung me up for my nasty name calling, intolerant bitchiness.

I too am a poet, short story writing novelist. Come check me out. i have one poem posted and the word penis appears in the first line. Hope it grabs you. Love and kisses

UtahS,
Thank you. I have been to your blog and will again. I believe you are on my Echoing Voices blogroll already if not you shall be. Keep fighting the good fight. We can use as many peacemongers as we can stomach. I for one, will never get full of that.

As for the "penis" grabbing me...I'm not sure how that is possible but I am willing to give it a shot. What? I haven't the faintest what that even means that I just wrote...Must be Freudian or some such thing...

I'm from KC, MO originally and believe you me, there are racists, but there are many who are not, I now live in NWArkansas and find the same thing here, closet racists, out in the open racists, but overall, like KC, they are the minority and getting smaller than they already were.

Peace.

That's good to hear. I'm a bit of a word flinger. It's bad habit. My mother was the mistress of the eviscerating tongue lashing. I learned to be a bitch from one of the best. Yes, I, too remember the wonderful ones, the kind and peaceful, the sweet and generous. But this for of capitalism, this war mongering march of the well oiled political machine scares me, it makes me a little crazy and wild with my words. I do seem to piss the folks off. And yet the come back to be pissed off again. Go figure.

To my knowledge, you are the first to read the poetry. You are kind and gentle in your comments. And I hope honest.

UtahS,
I am honored to be the first.

Hey, I'm always honest, yet not to a fault, because that would be an oxymora!

I kid, I laugh, I cry, I rage, and I can even be flamboyount, but I never lie about someone's talent.

Peace.
