MONSTROUS

i wish
i could write
a poem,
a rant,
a
word
that would
slam shut
monstrousness
enough
to sink within
but, alas
they do not grasp
nor understand
soul or man
i feel for them
i do
if only
they might
the truth
at last
for it is ready
